Accommodation for The Kenilworth Show 2026 — 30 Minutes’ Drive from Stoneleigh Park
The Kenilworth Show returns to Stoneleigh Park on Saturday 6 June 2026 — Warwickshire’s largest one-day agricultural show, with over 130 trade stands, livestock, equestrian, the new Food Hall, and main ring entertainment. Stay 30 minutes’ drive away at Apart Hotel Rugby — quieter, calmer, with self check-in 24/7 and easy Friday setup access.
The Kenilworth Show has been running since 1947 and is organised by the Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society (KADAS). The 2026 edition marks a new chapter — moving to a brand-new 80-acre site opposite Manor Fields Farm, still within Stoneleigh Park. It’s the region’s biggest one-day celebration of farming, food, rural life and community, regularly drawing 10,000 to 12,000 visitors.
If you’re travelling in for the show — whether as a trade stand holder needing a Friday setup base, a livestock owner exhibiting cattle, sheep or horses, an equestrian competitor, or a family making the trip from London, Birmingham or the Midlands — Apart Hotel Rugby is the closest comfortable serviced accommodation off the M6 corridor, with self check-in 24/7, kitchenettes in every room, and free parking on site.

For trade stand holders, livestock exhibitors and equestrian competitors
If you’re exhibiting at Kenilworth Show — one of the 130+ trade stands, a livestock owner with cattle or sheep across the 25 breeds judging, an equestrian competitor, a Heavy Horse exhibitor, or a Food Hall producer — Apart Hotel Rugby is built for multi-night stays. Most exhibitors need Friday evening for setup and Saturday for the show itself, with some staying Sunday for teardown.
Self check-in 24/7 via smart lock means you can arrive late Friday after a long drive without waiting for a night porter. Kitchenettes in every room so you’re not relying on late takeaways after a long setup day. Free guest laundry on the first floor — essential after a long dusty show day. We accept group bookings for trade teams — contact us directly for availability across multiple rooms.
Pets and working dogs: selected ground-floor rooms are pet-friendly, which matters if you’re a livestock exhibitor or shepherd travelling with a working dog. Mention it when booking and we’ll allocate appropriately.
Getting to Stoneleigh Park from Apart Hotel Rugby
Stoneleigh Park is on Stoneleigh Road in Warwickshire (postcode CV8 3AY). The new 2026 site is opposite Manor Fields Farm, still within the Stoneleigh Park estate. From our front door at 123 Railway Terrace in Rugby, the drive is roughly 14-15 miles:
- Head west on the A45 toward Coventry
- Continue past Ryton-on-Dunsmore, following signs for Stoneleigh / NAEC
- Turn off onto Stoneleigh Road — the showground entry is signposted on event days
- Total journey: roughly 30 minutes off-peak, allow 45-55 minutes on Saturday morning around 8:30-9:30am when the show traffic builds
For a 9:00am show opening, leaving Apart Hotel Rugby at 8:00am gives you a comfortable buffer to park and walk in before the gates open. If you’re an exhibitor with a Friday setup slot, the route is much quieter — 25 minutes is realistic.
Parking on show day
Stoneleigh Park provides extensive event parking on show days. Arrive before 9:00am to get a closer pitch — by 11:00am the outer fields are typically in use and the walk to the main ring is longer. If you’re staying with us on the Friday night, our 6 on-site spaces и free Railway Terrace street parking between 18:00 and 08:00 handle your vehicle overnight without competing with town-centre demand.
Booking direct vs third-party sites
We’re listed on Booking.com, Airbnb and similar platforms, but booking directly with us is cheaper and gives you more flexibility — especially for show weekends when OTA pricing tightens:
- Up to 25% off with direct-booking code DIRECT at checkout
- Free 14-day cancellation as standard (vs the tight non-refundable rates often pushed on OTAs around event weekends)
- Direct line to the property for any pre-arrival questions about parking, early check-in, or pets
- Best rates always honoured — we won’t be undercut by aggregators
Show weekends typically see Rugby and Coventry accommodation prices jump 20-40% on the major OTAs. Direct booking with us keeps the rate flat and adds the DIRECT discount on top.
Practical tips for show day, from a local hotel
What to bring
- Sun protection — even in early June, the showground is largely open. Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
- Sturdy footwear — the new 80-acre site means more walking between rings, marquees and the Food Hall than previous years
- Cash and card — most trade stands take both, but smaller artisan vendors often prefer cash
- A reusable water bottle — there are refill points around the showground
- A foldable bag or trolley — if you’re planning to buy from the Food Hall or trade stands
Where to eat before / after
- The Old Crown — Hillmorton Road, good pub food, popular Friday evening
- Loaf Bakery — Sheep Street, ideal for a Saturday morning coffee and pastry before driving out
- Wagamama — Junction One, reliable post-show option Saturday evening
- The Squirrel Inn — traditional pub on Church Street, good for a quiet pint
Tesco Express on Lawrence Sheriff Street is open until 23:00 if you need supplies after a late return from the show.
Who attends The Kenilworth Show
Based on the show’s history, the visitor profile is mixed:
- Local Warwickshire families — Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Rugby
- Farmers and rural professionals from across the Midlands attending for the livestock judging and machinery
- Trade stand holders and Food Hall producers on multi-day stays
- Equestrian competitors from across the country bringing horses for the in-ring classes
- Day-trippers from Birmingham, Northampton, Leicester and the wider Midlands for a full family day out
If you’re travelling from further afield — London, Bristol, the North — Rugby station is a 5-minute walk from Apart Hotel Rugby, with direct Avanti West Coast services from Euston in around 50 minutes, then a short drive to the showground.
